Coronary Velocity Flow - Coronary Pressure Loops. Amlodipine & Adenosine Effects.

The slide shows the comparison between observed (in a patient) and simulated Coronary Velocity Flow - Coronary Pressure (CVF - CP) loops. The left (upper) panel shows the loops during baseline conditions. The other three panels show the observed and simulated loops during Amlodipine (after 15 min), Amlodipine (after 30 min) and Adenosine (1 mg - bolus) administration, respectively. In the right (lower) panel together to Adenosine loop the baseline (thin blue line) and the Amlodipine (after 30 min) loops (thin orange line) are reported.

Systemic Haemodynamics and Coronary Flow-Velocity Mean Values Calculated as Average of the 10 Patients Studied. In Vivo Versus in Silico Values are Shown in the Four Conditions Studied.

The table shows for some parameters, the mean values (average of the measurements over all patients) obtained from measured and simulated data. The simulated data were obtained reproducing in silico F/P curves (for each patient) on the basis of hypothesis describe in the paper. For all patients, there were no significant differences between the mean values calculated for in vivo and in silico data.
