In this configuration aortic and thoracic sections are modelled with RLC elements. The abdominal section is reproduced with 4-MW element in which Ras represents the variable peripheral resistance. The systemic venous section consists of a compliance (Cvs) and two variable resistances (Rvs₁ and Rvs₂).
