Electrical analogue of the cardiovascular system with the RVAD connected "in series" from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery and "in parallel" from the right atrium to the pulmonary artery, respectively. All the circuit elements have been described in https://cardiosim.dsb.cnr.it/CirculatoryNetworks/fcn/fcn10
The TandemHeartTM pump module consists of an inflow (drainage) from the right atrium (RA) and an outflow (return) into the main pulmonary artery (PA).

Equation simulates the experimental “pressure drop-flow rate” waveforms for the right atrial/ventricular drainage cannula (21 Fr) and the arterial (outflow) cannula (12 Fr and/or 17 Fr).
The behaviour of the pump when running at four different rotational speeds (3000, 4500, 6000 and 7500 rpm) can be repoduced using equation. Table 1 shows the Rotary Blood Pump Pressure (RBPP) values as well as a and b coefficients.
