Systemic Network 7 (1/5).

This slide shows an other systemic circulation network implemented into CARDIOSIM© library. This systemic network representation is composed by the following compartments: ascending aorta, thoracic and abdominal aorta, superior (inferior) vena cava SVC (IVC) and lower and upper body. Qria is the input right atrial blood flow, Qlo is the left ventricular output flow, Qartery (Qvenous) is the coronary artery (venous) blood flow.

Systemic Network 7 (2/5).

Electrical analogue showing the ascending aorta compartment modelled with RLC element. Pt is the mean intrathoraci pressure and Plv is the left ventricular pressure.

Systemic Network 7 (3/5).

In this systemic circulatory network the upper body and the SVC compartments are modelled with 3-MW and 2-MW elements respectively. Pt is the mean intrathoracic pressure and Pra is the right atrial pressure.

Systemic Network 7 (4/5).

In the electric analogue the thoracic and abdominal aortic section is modelled with RLC element (Rat1, Lat1 and Cat1), the lower body section is represented with a 3-WM (Rlb1, Clb and Rlb2).

Systemic Network 7 (5/5).

IVC compartment is modelled with 2-MW element.
