Systemic Network 5 (1/5).

In this schema the systemic circulations consists of the following compartments: ascending aorta, carotid arteries, descending aorta, peripheral arteries, systemic veins circulation and vena cava section.

Systemic Network 5 (2/5).

In the electric analogue the ascending (descending) aorta section is modelled with 4-MW elements Laa, Raa, RVaa and Caa ( Lda, Rda, RVda and Caa ), carotid arteries compartment is represented with a single resistance (Rca). Peripheral arteries section is reproduced with 3-MW elements (Ra, Ca and RVa), the flow is devided in Qa and QRVa. The systemic veins compartment is modelled with 4-MW elements (RVvs, Rvs, Lvs and Cvs). The blood flow into vena cava bed is (QRVaa+QRVda+Qvs+Qvc).

Systemic Network 5 (3/5).

The vena cava compartment is reproduced with 4-MW elements (Lvc, Rvc, RVvc and Cva). The compliance is connected to the intrathoracic pressure (Pt). The blood flow Qria represents the right atrium input flow.
